Fruits are the best source of nutrients that keeps us healthy and strong, besides building up our immune system to fight certain diseases. Despite the beneficial value of fruits, many of us overlook the nutritional aspect, and  undervalue their importance. As an example, take the case of frozen Greek Yogurt. We know  the health value of the food, but adding raspberries and blueberries enhances the nutritional value even further. As  a protein rich food with healthy fats, it  becomes an ideal dessert, additionally fulfilling our needs for daily fruit intake. Healthy dessert creativity is endless, whether its chocolate  covered strawberries to vanilla and mango smoothies, scrumptious options are available in plenty to explore.

5. Desserts Have A Soothing Impact On The Negative Side Effects Of Dieting

Many of us may not have  given a thought on the reasons why hospitals serve jello or chocolate pudding to patients. It’s done to soothe the patient’s appetite that they seem to have lost due to an illness. During this phase, the patient enjoys consuming sugary, low-nutrient carbohydrates than any other food. The National Eating Disorders Association, US in a report states that abruptly cutting down  the intake of carbs and sugar, results in the body losing the levels of glucose needed for energy. One of the negative aspects of dieting is the feeling of sluggishness, mental fog, and distractions.
